Description: A young boy imitates the eagles.
This is an original quilt which incorporates ideas from two different patterns, plus my own.ideas.

I made the main part of the quilt as "Around the World", and asked members of the Paintbrush Piecers' Quilt Guild to help make the "Jack-in-the-Box" blocks for the borders. The moose were appliqued onto the finished top. Quilted by Jeanne Knudsen.

Date made: 2002, one of my first quilts. This is the year I began quilting.
Description: Each family member submitted a block which told something about themselves. Blocks are applique or pieced. Example: My sister, Jane, sent blocks made from Hawaiian prints since her husband is from Hawaii. My brother, Rich send blocks with African animals for his daughter, Debby and her family, who are missionaries in Rawanda, Africa., etc.

Description: This was a block of the month at Big Horn Quilts in Greybull. Some of the blocks were my own original design.
Date made: 2011
Description: My 4-year old granddaughter, Ambyr, asked if I would make her a quilt . I asked what color she wanted and she began naming all the colors. This quilt includes all the colors she named. It is made from Laurel Burch fabrics and a few hand dyed fabrics.
